^ I realize that's not really what you're looking to read, Fading Fast, but I'm hoping christine can find the Insert Image tool to be satisfactory. (I just couldn't get a satisfactory image size until fiddling with the Insert Image option.) I appreciate the suggestion and, again, maybe I'm missing the obvious.
I can easily download the picture to my Mac and resize it, but then, because I don't have my own blog like Topbilled, I don't have a site to create a URL for the newly sized pic to post on this site. It's not having a place to store a picture that creates a URL for it that has been my issue, again, unless I'm just missing the obvious. I only recently tried using the "Search by image" option on Google's search page, Fading Fast, and again that can be helpful for both expanding your choices of photo size and identifying unknown elements.

The imgur.com site currently lets you upload images for free which can then provide you an image link you can use in messages. (You don't need to sign up for anything either.)
Go to imgur.com, click on the 'new post' green button in the upper left. This gives you a 'drag and drop' box. Drag your image from your file folder onto the box. imgur should add it to their library and show you the image. At this point you can right-click on the image they show and most browsers have a "copy image address" or "copy image link" item you can use to copy the address of the image. You can then paste this link into a message to show it. (On this message board, the 'Insert Image' button with the photo icon lets you embed an image from a URL link into a message.) You might also want to have your own text file where you paste the link first so you can be sure not to lose it.
I hope this works for you. I think there are other similar image sites on the web, but imgur has worked for me in the past. Happy posting!

Thank you. Am I right to assume, Imgur.com allows you to resize the picture as well? Or is the idea that I right size it on my computer and then upload to Imgur.com and then over to this forum?

That worked - thank you. I just played around with Imgur.com site and after I resized the photo on my computer and uploaded it to imgur and copied it over here, the resizing stayed through all the steps - thank you, problem solved.

That is a beautiful photo of Dean. Given the evidence, I'm guessing it is from the film "Career" in 1959 (Hal Wallis produced for Paramount). Career has never been shown on TCM, and I don't think I've ever seen it. Now I would really like to!

Yes cmovieviewer, it is from CAREER. Dean does some fine acting in that film. He plays Maury Novak who goes from being an out of work actor to a big Hollywood director and then loses almost everything. The vast realm of Dean's character shows the ability of his acting, which I feel was very underrated. This is one of the movies that his friend Shirley MacLaine starred in with him and I also want to mention Carolyn Jones who I feel gave an outstanding performance here. Hopefully, TCM will show this film someday. Dean and Shirley in CAREER 1959 Sorry about the pictures being small - I haven't mastered the picture thing yet so I'm reverting back to what I know how to do. LOL

Happy 107th Birthday celebration to Dean Martin!!! Dino was born into an Italian family that settled in Steubenville, Ohio. He was the second son of Angela and Guy Crocetti. Born almost two years after his brother William. Dean was premature, born almost a month early but soon grew to be healthy and physically fit because of his love of sports. When Dino entered school he was bullied and made fun of because learning English was difficult for him. So he made friends by entertaining the kids. A skill he would use his whole life. He found pleasure in making others laugh and have a good time. After he left school and trying many different jobs, Dean began to sing with local bands, in Cleveland, then on the east coast where he met Jerry Lewis. Dean and Jerry made 16 films with Paramount studios, hosted the Colgate Comedy Hour, had their own radio show, performed live, even had their own comic books. They were the highest paid act it the country in 1951. They had a chemistry together and in my opinion had fun with each other. Dean said that two of his best decisions were when he met Jerry and when he left Jerry to be on his own. Even when Dean had his own show on NBC, he did little things like he did with Jerry - he always stood on the right side of his guests because that's where he stood when he performed with Jerry. In 1949 he married Jeanne who I believe was his true love until he died. They had 3 children, Dino Paul Jr., Ricci, and Gina. Dean had four children with his first wife Betty - Craig, Claudia, Gail and Deana. Dean had custody of his four children. He and Jeanne raised seven children together. In Deana's biography about her father, she said that she called Jeanne mom and to Jeanne there was no difference. She loved and raised all seven children as they were hers. I think she loved Dean's children so much because she loved Dean! Dean and Jeanne After Dean broke with Jerry and Paramount studios, I feel that he did some of his best acting in the films he made from 1958 to 1968. He had 6 gold records, 4 golden globe nominations, winning in 1967, and even knocked the Beatles off the number one spot on the charts in August of 1964 with his song 'Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime' which also became his theme song. He has three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 1967 - once again, was the highest paid entertainer in our country. The reason I adore Dean so much though is because of the things I feel I've learned from him. I've learned to see the good in even tough situations. I've learned to enjoy what I'm doing more. I've learned to use the skills I have to help others - and I've learned to grow old gracefully! Many of Dean's passions came from his early years - his love of golf, his love of horses and animals, his love of family and his love of singing! If you have never heard Dean sing these songs - do yourself a favor and go to Spotify or YouTube and listen - 1. Love me, my love 2. My Melancholy Baby 3. From the Bottom of My Heart 4. Sleep Warm 5. Besame Mucho 6. Come Back to Sorrento 7. What's Yesterday 8. Night and Day 9. I Left My Heart in San Francisco 10. Break It To Me Gently 11. Canadian Sunset and 12. Welcome to My World Some of these songs Dean never recorded but performed live so you will find them on YouTube. I could go on, but if you listen to those 12 songs, close your eyes and hear the richness of his warm voice - you'll want more. I hope that anyone who reads this will want to enjoy and understand Dean, his life and career a little more. I also hope that his work and talent will continue to be enjoyed for many more years and generations to come.

LOL I'm sorry the sizing isn't working for you. I had to play around with it a few times to get it.
Maybe this will help you.
What I did was download the picture to my computer's hard drive.
I then resized it on my computer: on a Mac, all you do is bring up the pic in "Preview" and click "Tools" and then click "Adjust Size" and have at it.
Then I uploaded the resized pic to imgur.com site, copied the URL at imgur and pasted that URL into the "insert image" icon's popup box here (on this site).
Feel free to DM me if you want me to work with you as I'm glad to help. I only learned about imgur.com yesterday from cmovieviewer, but it did take me a few tries to figure the above process out, so again, I'm glad to walk you through it.

Well the party's almost over. It's been fun celebrating Dino's 107th Birthday with my friends and family. We ate and drank well, and enjoyed two of Dean's films - Dean's first movie MY FRIEND IRMA 1949 and RIO BRAVO 1959. It was a wonderful reason to get together. It was a beautiful sunny day with a bit of a north breeze, and once again Dino's talents have entertained this generation!

The annual Dean Martin Festival in Steubenville, Ohio begins today and runs for the week. It's usually celebrated in June around his birthday. This festival has been taking place for the last 30 years! There are historic sites around the city to see, and a nice museum. The Steubenville museum devotes a large room to Dean. There are all kinds of great things in this room, but my favorite item is a dress that Dean's mom, Angela Crocetti made. She was the seamstress in Steubenville when Dean was growing up. I went to the festival two years ago with a couple of friends, and we had a great time! We ate at a restaurant that Dean use to eat at, spent time at the museum, looked at the sites and enjoyed Dean Martin singers out at the park. Steubenville is very close to West Virginia - just over a beautiful bridge, so it's a great automobile trip. One of my friends happens to live in Mentor, Ohio, so we did the whole vacation in her SUV. People from all over the world come. Dean's daughter Deana is there every once in a while. Unfortunately, she wasn't there when I was. Anyway, lots to do. I'll probably go again next year! Picture that I took of the wedding dress in the Dean Martin room at the Steubenville Museum Dean's mom made!
