Thought I'd make a thread since we don't already have one. Also, this weekend is daylight savings time.
Arizona does not observe daylight savings time, so this means I have to make sure I am here according to Pacific Time not Mountain Time!

Here's a link where you can find a nice copy of PETER IBBETSON:

I've never seen this one and have avoided reading about it so that it is completely fresh for me on Sunday, but I did look to see who stars in it and am very excited that two of my favorites, Ann Harding and Gary Cooper, are the leads.
It looks like Andrea picked a fun one for us.

Yes, thank you Andrea. It also features Ida Lupino in a supporting role. Plus Donald Meek has a small part.

Thanks for starting the thread and adding the pictures, you two! I just came to do that, but didn't have a good link or photos yet.
What beautiful pictures of the two leads!
This is a pure romance coming up with a touch of fantasy added. I'm not sure if you'll like it, but I'm positive you'll both like Ann Harding's character better than you liked Stella.

Just so you know, I have seen PETER IBBETSON before and I really enjoy it. Ann Harding can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.
I am looking forward to what Fading Fast, ando and anyone else may think after watching it with us on Sunday.

This starts with two of my favorite child actors Dickie Moore and Virginia Weidler.

This film is based on a book from 1891 written by George du Maurier. He was the grandfather of writer Daphne du Maurier...so literary talent ran in the family!

Actress Constance Collier adapted the story for the stage and some of her suggestions are included in the script for this film.

I like how easily he climbs between the bars of the two estates.

If she's a young Ann Harding and he's a young Gary Cooper, she looks very much like a young Harding; him, not so much like a young Coop.
