I will also miss the sportsmanship. It makes me so happy to see winners hugging losers and people who missed the podium just happy to be there, all taking pictures together. It made me tear up every time but especially the last couple days. When they announced the gold medalist in break dancing, the silver medalist immediately was pointing at her, smiling, hugging — I wish people did that in real life. Then when the French basketball team was crying, Lebron James and Kevin Durant were hugging them saying encouraging things to them. I’m really gonna miss all that good will and respect.

We will all meet again in Milan 2026, then I’ll see you in LA28!

I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one shedding a few tears when I saw how the Olympians treated each other. They were all so happy just to be playing together and being with each other. Like you said lonesomepolecat, if only . . . .

So we will all meet in this beautiful city of Milan, Italy 2026, say 'Ciao' to each other and do it again!!!

The Paralympics Games in Paris 2024 are underway - August 28th to September 8th.

I want to wish every Olympian good luck and send you a big hug! You're already your best just being there! Have fun, enjoy your experience and enjoy Paris!
