Quite a group up there. Here's a trio
"School Days"--The Runaways
"School Days"--Al Green
"School Days"--Joe Walsh
There's more I'm sure. But I left out Chuck Berry's "School Day" due to difference in spelling

Another hunk of gold - I am absolutely enamoured of Ruth Casey. That song melts me. What an interesting career - Ed Sullivan, John Huston, nightclubs, radio....runs the gamut. It is a shame I am not seeing any episodes of “Youth on Parade" with her as host online of which she says, “There are no losers on our program,” she said. “We just want to present the performers without going into the business of choosing a winner. It’s often not fair and can be unnecessarily discouraging to talented young people who are still at the amateur stage.” www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2012/07/17/ruth-casey-dies-hosted-youth-parade-show-appeared-sullivan-toast-town/dkc1BZlpMSYFjlICEZNkBO/story.htmlWe now return us to our regularly scheduled sing song shenanigans.

That is odd. No clips, old photos or even Wikipedia info on Ms. Casey can be found. Any search engine I enter either "Ruth Casey" in only leads me to info about the old BEN CASEY TV show, and googling "Youth On Parade TV show" gets me dozens of clip from "Your Hit Parade".
Got me really interested now.

Since Ruth Casey I have posting block on this thread. I do love the '45s collection shown in the O'Jays snip.
