Or best drummer jokes...
What's the last thing a drummer says in a band? "Hey, how about we try one of my songs?"
What do you call a drummer with half a brain? Gifted.
What does a drummer use for contraception? His personality.
What do you say to a drummer in a three-piece suit? "Will the defendant please rise?"
What's the first thing a drummer says when he moves to LA? "Would you like fries with that, sir?
What do you do if you accidentally run over a drummer? Back up.
What do you call a drummer that breaks up with his girlfriend? Homeless.
How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb? Five: One to screw the bulb in, and four to talk about how much better Neil Peart could've done it.

Y'know, I've heard some of those only attributed to bass players. Like the kid who told his Mom that when he grew up he wanted to be a bass player. And his Mom answered, "Well make up your mind. You can't do both."

Going to do a drummer thing, eh?
How about a known drummer from the late '50's into the '60's who did seem to age well. Until his death this past February.
But this thread started with a Buddy Rich drum battle. so-------

Here's a couple of drummers I always liked. Billy Cobham: And sadly no longer with us.... Mitch Mitchell..... And I'll throw in another favorite as a third. And also sadly no longer with us.... Ginger Baker Sepiatone

I didn't know Elvin (a respected Michigander from Pontiac, MI) did any acting. And incidentally, Elvin was said to be a major influence on Mitch Mitchell.
And there's been so many great drummers especially in the 20th century we can keep this thread alive for quite some time.
Drummers like-----
MAX ROACH
CHICK WEBB
