I recommend this 1996 book to any Barbara Cook fans. It follows Barbara, Rosemary Clooney and Julie Wilson through the dwindling New York cabaret scene in the early 1990's. A great tribute to their tenacity and longevity at a time when their lives weren't getting any easier.  |

I remember when Phoebe Cates was a guest on David Letterman that Letterman kept referring to her husband as Robert Klein. It was funny to me - and the audience thought so as well. |
