I go back to Patty Griffin again and again. This one is stunning storytelling, as a particular memory brings the song to a complete halt, followed by a slow rebuild.
And for storytelling, this one is hard to beat. I'm including a live version because I think she grew into the song after recording it for the album. That seems to happen often when an artist has had a few months to live with the song.

Oh drats. I missed yet another party! It isn't everyone who can pull off a cape with such moxy. The Little Lord Fauntleroy is clearly a bit tougher. From the most expensive home movie ever made... I haven't seen TSRTS for ages. The fantasy sequences really didn't add much to the movie and I could do without them.
Just a straight concert film would have been just fine. Oh well, it's all irrelevant now. Thank you.
