The pair of masked sidekicks I referenced is seen after clicking on the video, Sepiatone: Robin and Kato! I saw a photo, not a video, and NO advisory to "click" on it. The people here, although very adept at the topics of classic film and television are not clairvoyant. Try keeping that in mind . Sepiatone

I can see the chart, but that's about it. The print is too small for me to easily read even on my 20" PC monitor. And KATO was the sidekick. Not The Green Hornet. And what about Lon Chaney Jr. as Chingachgook from "Hawkeye And The Last Of The Mohicans"(1957) ? Sepiatone You can't see the names in each of the backets? E.g. Kato is listed #8 going against Della Street at #9. (The typical bracket ranking contest when there are 16 entries; 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14 etc....). I can see all the names and I'm using a laptop. Yes, I can see the names, but the print is so small I can't READ them clearly. I thought I made that obviously clear. Sepiatone

Sepiatone If one right-clicks, options come up: E.g., one can click on edit-image and that allows one to zoom in, expand the verbiage etc.. Just trying to be helpful.

Think those options must be browser dependent. Don't have them with Firefox on my PC. I can see the names, but my monitor is a 65" TV. Also just trying to help.

I think Diane is right. No such "edit-image" option appears when I right click on my PC. There's a "drop menu" that gives a "resize image" option, but like with photos it doesn't work on this site. Thanks anyway. Sepiatone

My favorite TV sidekick (female): Blanche Morton, brilliantly played by Bea Benaderet.
My favorite TV sidekick (male): Possibly (although this goes back to my remotest youth), Chingachgook, played by Lon Chaney Jr.

I'm kinda dismayed that the "Robin" chosen in this "favorite TV sidekick" challenge only mentions the character Robin's supposed "real' name of Dick Grayson( finally squinted hard enough to read a few names on the chart) without bringing up the name of the actor who portrayed the character of Robin on TV( remember?...."Favorite TV sidekick"?) BURT WARD. After all, this ISN'T called "Favorite comic book sidekick" right? Somebody should straighten that out. Sepiatone

Sepiatone The point of adding the 'real' name of Grayson was to represent that this sidekick was really two different characters\personas. The other 15 sidekicks don't have that situation (except maybe agent 99, but her 'real' name was never revealed).

Seems also nobody (unless I missed it) mentioned Bob Denver's GILLIGAN from "Gilligan's Island" who was obviously the Skipper's sidekick, which gives Mr. Denver two spots on a "TV sidekick" list.
And what about Bob Hasting's Lieutenant Carpenter, sidekick to Joe Flynn's Captain Binghamton on "McHale's Navy"?

Despite that, It was apparent Gilligan wasn't in charge of anything. And it was clear, as Gilligan was always referred to by the skipper as his "little Buddy", that he was technically the second mate and therefore the skipper's sidekick. And I thought it was crystal clear to anyone that the character Gilligan was supposedly the main source of comic relief, ergo the show(and deserted island) would be named after him. Sepiatone
