I feel as if "Site Wish List" is about this forum and not another forum. Things people want added or modified here. I did look at the other website after someone finally explained what SSO was. I think talking about that site should be in a different thread. I clicked on the photo on the main page and got this link: I am fond of this site for the Music category and the Jukebox thread.
I don't really want to be in a forum all about TCM or classic movies, where I have zero knowledge and can't really fit in. I'm a music and radio junkie. I like TCM and the older movies.
I actually like MeTV more. My attention span is getting shorter.

How about a VIP Lounge? A long time ago, I was a member of an "I Love Lucy" Message Board that had a subsection that was only visible to members that had accumulated a certain amount of posts.

What sorts of things did people who posted a lot about I Love Lucy discuss that they required their own lounge? I can imagine arguing over who played trumpet in Desi's orchestra in 1957.

That's funny. We would post anything we didn't want to post to the general public. Stuff like someone being sick or achieving some kind of accomplishment. It's mostly a prestige thing.

I've been binging on Babylon Berlin over the last couple of months. I'm almost done with Season 3. The German series is the most expensive television series ever produced, that's not in English, and it's quite remarkable And these days, there's a fine line between such a series and movies.
When I'm ready to post about it, where would I do so? It's a television series, but not a "classic" one. And it can't be called a classic film either, so maybe not appropriate for the "Classic Film" section. (And please let's not get into the "what is a classic? discussion!)
But the "I Just Watched" thread is within the "Classic Film" section here.
So where's the place for it, and similar shows?

I guess it can go in any number of places, but I think I'll put it in the "Foreign" section, when I finish watching Season 3, since there's nothing there yet.

I really enjoyed that series as the acting and period details were incredible (it is so beautiful to look at that I sometimes had to go back and play a section again as I'd forgotten to keep reading as I was looking at all the fantastic visuals) and the story was very good; although, I thought it did lose some focus in season three, but it's been several years since I saw it.
Your thought of putting it in the "Foreign" section makes sense, unless Topbilled has another suggestion or, maybe, he wants to create a "Modern Period TV Shows" board in either the "General" Section (say right after the "Classic TV" board) or in the "Genre" section.

There's a TV movie section, but that doesn't do it justice. The Classic Films section does say "you can discuss anything here," but I actually like the idea of putting in Foreign, since there's nothing there yet. And the section is simply called "Foreign Language."
Although the range of sections here covers almost anything under the sun, there really is no named section that would logically cover contemporary movies. I would put them in the the Classic Film section, I guess. A lot of stuff just doesn't fit in the genre sections. And heaven preserve us from the "what does classic mean" discussion!

I would like a few more "like" reaction options. Old TCM forums had Thank you, Sad, Confused & Haha...

Is there a way to "quote" different members' posts in one new post?
For example, if I'm in the "I Just Watched" thread and want to respond to both a post by member A and write something under it and, then also, respond to a post by member B and write something under that all in one new post, is there a way to do it?
So far, and I'm sure it's just me, I've only found a way to quote (and respond) to one post at a time.
Thank you.

I wish the RSS Feed, which serves new forum entries into an independent feed, were configured to report the precise forum post address, rather than just the forum title, and thus, the first forum post every time. This is probably configurable, but may be overlooked in favor of those user interface elements that deal with users who interact direct within the forum itself. The RSS feed could probably use the 'Link to Post' address found by the 'Quote' button on each post.

It seems to be a growing trend for people to label themselves as God. Not that I can do anything about it, but I find it offensive.

Isn't "God" just an automatic label that pops up when someone posts a certain number of posts? I didn't think people had the choice of "God." The title of "God" is thrust upon them.

It was my understanding that "god" was assigned by the software used for the website for the creators\owners of the website. This would be why TB has that title, but I see that Fading Fast also has that, so now I'm confused.
