After checking with Topbilled, it turns out we don't yet have a "lookalikes" thread, so here goes our first entry.

I've often saw more a resemblance of a young Lawrence Tierney to BEN AFFLECK Tierney Affleck But had NO luck finding an image of Ben with a clean shaven face that didn't take up 80% of the post space. Sepiatone

Actor Walter Abel left and actor Onslow Stevens right. Not perfect, but enough that I just guessed Able was Stevens seeing him in 1936's "Fury" on TCM on mute in the background just now.

Not so much anymore, but for years, I would confuse Ruth Chatterton and Irene Dunn and they only look somewhat alike.
Irene Dunne

That Irene Dunne photo doesn't even look much like her to me. 😲 That is because you're looking at the Ruth Chatterton photo. All joking aside, for me the photo of Dunne is a fairly typically one; E.g., hair just above the shoulders and close to the face. This was her 30s look. In the 40s when the style changed, Dunne changed with it letting her hair out some. Maybe that was the Dunne look you were expecting?

I'm not very familiar with her either, but in the movie I was watching, "The Big Combo," her resemblance to Keyes, especially how Keyes looked at the time she filmed "Mr Soft Touch," is amazing. Just saw this post about Helene Stanton; For me, in The Big Combo, Stanton has a lot more of a darker look and there isn't much of a resemblance to Evelen Keyes. Typically, Stanton was a blonde and then I see more of a resemblance to Keyes. (Also, their body shape was much different with Stanton being full-figured). In The Big Combo, I assume Stanton's darker "look" was an intentional decision by the director \ screenwriter. The main woman in the film is Susan, the platinum blonde, played by Jean Wallace. Stanton plays a gal from the other side of the tracks, with a name of Rita, and isn't a blonde. In many noirs, use of names, hair color, and body shape were used to show contrast between the different type of woman. Rita was the type of gal that cops would use, and was therefore, expendable. And boy was that the case in The Big Combo!

Maybe it's just the expression and clothing - like it was a corporate pic, not the imp. Guess this is more my vision:
