All five seasons are on Amazon Prime, and it's been a trip rewatching some of the episodes.
Kate Jackson is still my favorite.
I was never enraptured by Farrah like half the world was.

Kate Jackson and her 1977 Ford Pinto. Some claim it was from 1976. I had to guffaw at the idea of a car like mine from 1978 being on TV. Kate was attractive without trying to be a sex symbol.

Ford had a long running association with Aaron Spelling Productions. So all the vehicles in this show, and on Dynasty and The Colbys are Fords.

Definitely Kate Jackson. She might be my first TV star crush from her role in “The Rookies”. I remember being worried sick when she was shot in a restaurant in one episode. I was probably 8-9 at the time.

Sacrilege. What kind of hellish Sophie's Choice is this you are perpetrating!?? I cannot choose. I refuse.

While Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett could certainly look classy when the occasion called for it, of all the angels, I would say Shelley Hack was the most glamorous. Unfortunately, at this stage of her career she was fresh from her success as a model and lacked skills as an actress...though she would improve in later TV series.

Since starting this thread, I bought the complete series on DVD. Overall it's not as cheesy as I expected it to be. Some of the episode stories are very thoughtful, and the comic relief type episodes are especially fun when David Doyle gets a chance to shine as Bosley.
I went right to season 4, because while Kate Jackson is my favorite actress on the show, I think I am mesmerized by Shelley Hack's sense of style and glamour. So I was eager to re-view those episodes, many of them for the first time since I was a kid back in 1979-80.
Farrah Fawcett appears in three episodes of Season 4 as a special guest, finishing out contract obligations with Aaron Spelling's company (he took her to court and won when she abruptly quit after the first season). Farrah's last episode, near the end of season 4, is very poignant and she does a great job in that one. It's ironic that Farrah ended up lasting longer on the show than Kate Jackson did, though of course Kate appears in more episodes than Farrah.
My favorite season 4 episode, which I do remember from the original broadcast, is the season finale where Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) thinks she's found her biological father (Ray Milland), but of course it's all a scam perpetrated by the man's right-hand man (Robert Reed) who has plans to take over the family business. Patrick Duffy, on loan from CBS' Dallas, plays the love interest...and he falls in love with both Kelly and Kris (Cheryl Ladd) creating a unique triangle. Shelley Hack's character Tiffany does more of the investigating, trying to find out if Kelly has actually found her real dad, or not. It's a two-parter with a lot of suspense, twists and turns. Because they have double the time to tell the story, we learn more about Kelly's background.
