We do the exact same thing. We also watch “Miracle on 34th St.” each Thanksgiving at our house.
By the way, Valentine Davies’ novella of “Miracle” is very enjoyable. It’s different enough from the movie to make it worth reading, but not so different that a fan of the movie would object.
And some time that week, we make sure to watch the two Thanksgiving episodes of “The Bob Newhart Show” (the one highlighted above, where Bob and co. get drunk while Emily is visiting her parents for the holiday; and the episode in which Emily’s parents - with Ann Rutherford as her mom - come to Chicago for a surprise visit, causing friction with Bob’s mom, who’s trying to control every detail of the holiday celebration). I agree, I've read and enjoyed the Novella. From memory, the movie stayed very true to it.

Also, sung by Edith Piaf - in English and French.

Excellent fall tune! Here's another one. We've mentioned the movie of the same name, but here's the song, "Autumn in New York"

Here's a Thanksgiving movie you didn't realize -- SOUTH PACIFIC! Yes, it's true, the "Honey Bun" number is part of a Thanksgiving Show that Nellie and the other nurses give for the troops.

Disney's animated movie POCAHONTAS 1995 is nice viewing during this season. Delightful Disney music to listen to in this version of the life of Pocahontas and her encounter with John Smith.

POCAHONTAS was the last hand-drawn Disney film, and it is certainly beautiful. All future films created at their studios would be CGI.

How about some Thanksgiving Noir?
REPEAT PERFORMANCE
This movie covers an entire year, including Thanksgiving. Joan Leslie is the star of a play that hosts a Thanksgiving Party that is a big turning point in the plot (spoiler alert!)
