I won't start as I mean to go on - well, other than fun ridiculousness. Anything you love or hate about the music from your northern nether region neighbour, please share accordingly.

It was a lot of fun doing the shoot based loosely on the film Privilege. I attended with The Drummer and The Teacher. Brit Pop Girl was absent for some reason.
I wish I could say I am the one having her bosom signed on the private r'n'r plane, but alas I am but a faint blur in the crowd. Only The Teacher receives a close-up, once again leading me to suspect that blondes have more fun.

K-tel International Ltd At SXSW in 2013, Dave Grohl, gave a keynote speech praising K-tel for exposing him to music early in his life, specifically "Frankenstein" by the Edgar Winter Group: he said the song's inclusion on a 1975 K-tel Records Blockbuster compilation – the first album that he ever owned – was 'the record that changed my life.

SCTV was must-view in Canada. Brilliant stuff.
Eugene Levy, in particular, was at his absolute peak. Astonishing actor.

From the ridiculous to the sublime. Joni Anderson - Born to Take the Highway More echo from Laurel Canyon here than Canada, nevertheless, Neil Young had been a Winnipeg guitarist - another Canadian who'd previously reached the West Coast gives silent interpretation to the song: While I listened, "...I wondered whether I could wave goodbye/Knowin' that you'd gone".

I think this would be the correct thread to enter my thoughts on since one of the singers I want to celebrate today is Canadian.
I usually don't venture into the music department - I don't know why because I absolutely love music!, probably because of time once again - I could get lost here - anyway, I was listening to my Spotify this morning as I often do when I want to relax and calm. All of the sudden a song came on that just made my morning I'd forgotten about. I better explain that I have several play lists on Spotify that have taken me years to develop (if that makes sense to anyone). I want to share this since it hit me so the right way I thought maybe someone else would like it that wasn't aware it was out there.
This little tune involves a couple of singers - you might recognize them - Barbra Streisand and Michael Buble'.
In 2014 Barbra released her 34th studio album called 'Partners'. Streisand sings duets with many well known artists and one is Buble'.
Watch the recording of their song and just marvel at the talent they possess.
This is the version that is on her album.
If you've never listened to this album (yes, I still call them albums), take a listen. There is a duet Barbra does with Elvis that will bring tears to your eyes - it does mine!
