Good- bye to Summer Under The Stars until 2025. Wonderful scheduling in August! I saw all my favorites - George Kennedy, Robert Redford, Sidney Poitier, Cary Grant and . . . oh yes - Dean Martin!!! So may other talented stars also, doing what they do best !

TCM is really losing it's quality in some ways.
The new website schedule is terribly designed.
And last night Ben Mankiewicz called it 31 Days of Oscar and obviously not a single person caught it! An egregious error like that and no on caught it. And he didn't backtrack like he always does when he makes one of his lame jokes. I kept expecting, I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. None was forthcoming. I don't know what's going on there but it's not looking good.

Wow, that is a big error. I assume you are referring to Tony Curtis' SOTS night. I wasn't watching that night, but you would think they would have re-shot or edited that goof. I don't even bother with TCM's website anymore. I agree that it is poorly designed, but also it doesn't give you much information (especially if you click on a film title within their schedule.)

I had the thought that the promo was reused probably from a 31 Days of Oscar. And then I wondered how many of the intros were new.
What I'm beginning to be annoyed about is how quickly they repeat some films. SEX AND THE SINGLE GIRL was run Saturday for Tony Curtis' day. Tonight, just 2 days later it's running for Bacall's Star of the Month.
