Paul Douglas & Linda Darnell also costarred in EVERYBODY DOES IT and THE GUY WHO CAME BACK.
Great on-screen chemistry.

A little too many references to Addie. Mankiewicz is really over-egging the pudding with this plot device of the absent but continuously talked-about home wrecker.
Surely they'd discuss other people in their social circle.

Great on-screen chemistry. Part of it is that they both have large faces. They wouldn't look as "right" with some of the others.

I love that Sothern is negotiating with Ritter over how to serve. It's so funny. You know they are friends.

Thelma Ritter is uncredited in this film. She was uncredited in her first three films at 20th Century Fox.
Her first credit at the studio was in FATHER WAS A FULLBACK (1949) which starred Fred MacMurray & Maureen O'Hara.

Ann Sothern has over 100 credits on IMBD -- twice what the other two lead actresses have, ten of them were Maisie movies. What a hard working trooper.
