"Ophelia" was not "garbage" IMO. A fair cast and some clever scene twists. A scene with Hamlet and Ophelia is rendered as if they know Polonius and Claudius are listening. They do not know that in the original. My memory is not great but I do remember Naomi Watts making a good Gertrude. Just because it might be a feminist take does not mean it's garbage (if that is what is meant). I am purist in most cases and I love Shakespeare but the Bard has always been fair game in the movies. Not great overall, okay ; but I loved just seeing what they were doing with it.

"Ophelia" was not "garbage" IMO. A fair cast and some clever scene twists. I haven't seen Ophelia yet, but if Naomi Watts is in it, it can't be garbage. She's too fine to be in garbage I think. Imdb has it rated at 6.5 with more than 15,000 ratings, so audience scores seem to reflect a decent enough movie.
