I'd just like to say hi to everyone. I'm not a new member, I've been on here for a handful of months already. I joined because of my love of classic films and Hollywood and of that time period in our country's history (the 20th century). I love sticking my nose in the lives of the people that lived and entertained in that time period. I think they were incredibly talented!!! I feel sometimes that I was born a little late and would have loved to be a part of everything going on in Hollywood at that time - The good, the bad and the ugly - as they say. So this is my way of doing that and it's nice to discuss thoughts with people in that same community.
Anyway, happiness to everyone and let's chat!

If you are a new member, we do a Sunday "screening" at 3pm ET of a classic movie (you can click on a link, watch the movie on your devise and comment along with others) if you are looking for an fun activity. Link to it here: "Sunday Live! Don't be so Melodramatic". Once you click, you can read through some past comment sections and see that it's a nice group that just enjoys talking about "old" movies.

Well, I'm not sure what's going on with our "new members" lately.
So, member number 121 joined us on Sunday - that was superskippy. Then superskippy disappeared and another member number 121 joined on Monday - that was JumpstarterJack. Now JumpstarterJack has also disappeared and we've been joined by new member - again member 121 - and that is Cinemaniac.
I'd like to extend a hearty welcome to Cinemaniac - and the fact that he or she has actually made an actual post is highly encouraging in that a new member is actually real this time and may be here to stay.
