Yes, it's a great picture. I looked at it for a long time thinking about how different she looked right there than she usually does. I'll bet she was really proud of this role.
As for the starving peasants, yes, it's only five in Ohio, but my son has to be at work every morning at six, then gets off at 3pm starving, so we're used to eating at five as sort of a compromise with him. They'd never let us in that Park Avenue apartment building even if we were rolling in money.
I'm still waiting for that book, I ordered it from my library, but I also read a lot about it online. I thought about it this week with Leslie Van Houtens parole. The relatives of one of her victims lives there.

We can ask Topbilled, but if you want, I'm fine with moving up the Sunday movie by an hour and starting it at 2pm ET, but again, that's if you want to and TB is good with it as well. Just a thought if it helps.
I ordered a copy of "Daisy Kenton" last night. Used books like that are silly cheap on line.
We live about five blocks and five hundred social classes away from Park Avenue ourselves. I assume you are referring to "740 Park," as the book you are waiting on?

Yes, "740 Park," that's the one.
Oh no, no, no need to change the time, it was already changed for me once. I'm just joking about the dinner, they only have to wait about fifteen minutes longer, if any. I always have everything ready to go. I think it must just be the fact that I'm not physically in the kitchen that starts the worry with the men and the dog. It's good for them to wait a few minutes!

I don't care much about food, but if we don't have dinner in the bowl on time for our dog, he pulls his supper dish into the middle of the kitchen floor and starts banging his paw on it. It is so freakin' funny it's ridiculous. And he's basically a gentle fella.

I enjoyed reading Fading Fast's review of DAISY KENYON. It's gratifying (is that the right word?) to see how much a film affects other people, especially a film that was selected in the hopes that it would go over well.
Reading about the food that is served after the film reminds me we all have our own unique life patterns each day, especially on the weekends, and it's nice we make time for a film together every Sunday afternoon. Thank you.
