BATTLE for the PLANET of the APES is said to have made its Los Angeles premiere fifty years ago on this day...  I got to see the fifth 'n' final of the original franchise and integrate it into play that summer of '73.

An English friend of mine just spent two weeks in Borneo, to see the orangutans. They're evidently famous for their orangutans, in that part of the world.  |
