Norma Shearer died forty years ago on this day about ten miles from the Iverson Movie Ranch here:  Had her undeterred drive, which had to repel negative viewpoints about her stocky build and eyes seen in view for the above shot, taken her no further than atop this rock for M-G-M's lost Excuse Me ! (1925), she already had made quite a climb. |
