TCM has posted a partial schedule for July, 2023. There is no single Star of the Month, but instead TCM is featuring stars from films released in the 1970s. Additional details are available at my schedule information page: escapepress.com/tcmsched/tcm_overview.html

This is a good idea...though I kind of thought they'd start to include more stars of the 70s in their Summer Under the Stars in August...then gradually do monthly tributes for box office names from that decade.
They already did a SOTM tribute for Robert Redford...he was one of the first they gave that honor.

The 1970's are definitely Ben's favorite era. I'd be OK if they added (relatively) newer stars for SOTM.

TCM has posted a video introducing the July theme of Disablity in the Movies:
The films are showing on Sunday evenings and are introduced by Dave Karger. Last night Dave mentioned that July is Disability Pride month.

TCM has changed the primetime lineup on Saturday July 22nd. Originally scheduled to begin with a 2-film memorial tribute to Harry Belafonte, the schedule now starts off with a 2-film Guest Programmer theme. The start times for the 3 films after this were also adjusted. Here is a comparison of the old schedule and the newly revised schedule: SATURDAY July 22, TCM PRIMETIME Old Schedule 2023-07-22 08:00 PM musical Carmen Jones (1954) 105m 2023-07-22 10:00 PM horror World, the Flesh and the Devil, The (1959) 95m 2023-07-23 12:00 AM susp Julie (1956) 99m (Noir Alley) 2023-07-23 02:00 AM drama Picasso Summer, The (1970) 90m 2023-07-23 04:00 AM drama Last Summer (1969) 97m New Schedule 2023-07-22 08:00 PM comedy Philadelphia Story, The (1940) 111m 2023-07-22 10:00 PM romance Red Shoes, The (1948) 134m 2023-07-23 12:30 AM susp Julie (1956) 99m (Noir Alley) 2023-07-23 02:30 AM drama Picasso Summer, The (1970) 90m 2023-07-23 04:15 AM drama Last Summer (1969) 97m

If you don't mind me asking, which schedule are you using? Is it something I can look at?

If you happen to be looking at the TCM web Monthly schedule, I should mention that the Monthly schedule web page has not been updated with these changes yet. If you look at the TCM web Daily schedule, you will see the new titles listed on the 22nd. However, TCM has a bug in their Daily web page so there are previous and incorrectly formatted entries listed on that day. Other online TV schedule web sites have confirmed the changes shown above - refer to zap2it.com, for example. You can also use the monthly schedules on my web page. I update these whenever TCM makes changes. It is surprising to me that TCM has cancelled the memorial tribute to Harry Belafonte. Unless they reschedule it later, it appears the Guest Programmer films with his daughter Shari on Monday evening the 10th will have to suffice.
