One of my favorites - and a worthy first posting to Music that ties into Classic Movies.

Morricone is a great choice for this forum. And I’m glad to hear something by Wanda — I’ve only heard a little bit of her music, although I’m familiar with her stature in the early days of rockabilly.

Not familiar with Wanda Jackson...thanks for sharing! Posting video here is easier than the old place, where I had to use a dedicated browser to get the YT link. Wanda got her start with Elvis, and she's still going, despite suffering a stroke a few years ago. The song I posted is a Joan Jett song. I like that larger 4 point font. Is there a way you can set it as the default for all posts on the boards?

I discovered the above song, "Toi" from an Italian film entitled "I Knew Her Well" a movie I love to distraction though it is does not get good ratings. The song comes near the end when the heroine is driving home. The song is played in its entirety, or nearly so. There is a palpably bittersweet force that nearly drives me tears. What a marvelous thing the movie captured with that song.
It is available on the Criterion Channel.

I have just found out from a long ago post saying that I Knew Her Well was ranked 12th in Criterion's own list of their top 100 movies. That's quite a distinction considering it's modest ranking around the Web. They call it "an unsung masterpiece."
