Regarding this past Wednesday's screening of THE WRECK of the MARY DEARE on TCM, I wondered about the dive time Gary Cooper actually accrued during the filming of the 1959 movie as Cooper's declining health is said to have caused delays... Still, just five months before the release of the film the following graced the cover of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED:

I always thought that movie was Coop's final film as he looked ready to croak throughout the entire movie. But his final film I understand, some movie about Nikita Khrushchev, was a posthumous release.
