I can't believe I didn't vote for THE WIZARD OF OZ, which I adore.
But I voted for DOUBLE INDEMNITY because I feel its style influenced a lot of noir that came after it. For me, it signifies more of a turning point in Hollywood cinema.

There is no doubt that Double Indemnity is the more influential film, yet The Wizard of Oz, for me, is the more timeless. I cast my vote for The Wizard of Oz. |
