Daytime and Primetime April 19 Day Two of the third Studio Contract Players block. All men today. The documentary Tab Hunter: Confidential is airing in his time slot, so he only gets one scripted feature. 1) Sydney Greenstreet The Mask of Dimitrios (Peter Lorre, Faye Emerson) (1944) Three Strangers (Peter Lorre, Geraldine Fitzgerald) (1946) 2) Ronald Reagan Knute Rockne, All-American (Pat O'Brien, Gale Page) (1940) The Hasty Heart (Ronald Reagan, Patricia Neal) (1949) 3) Paul Henreid Between Two Worlds (John Garfield, Eleanor Parker) (1944) Deception (Bette Davis, Paul Henreid) (1946) 4) Humphrey Bogart Black Legion (Humphrey Bogart, Ann Sheridan) (1937) The Maltese Falcon (Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor) (1941) 5) Tab Hunter Battle Cry (Van Heflin, Mona Freeman) (1955) 6) Peter Lorre The Beast with Five Fingers (Robert Alda, Andrea King) (1946) The Verdict (Peter Lorre, Joan Lorring) (1946) If you haven't seen it yet, The Tab Hunter documentary is a good one. It includes some interesting comments on how both he and Troy Donahue were marketed.

Primetime April 22 '70s Dramas One slot is still unscheduled. I'm racking my brain to think of what other WB drama might be in that slot. I've forgotten if All the President's Men is already scheduled elsewhere. There don't seem to be any repeats this month, except for one or two of the documentaries.
Scarecrow (Al Pacino, Gene Hackman) (1973) Badlands (Martin Sheen, Sissy Spacek) (1973) Night Moves (Gene Hackman, Jennifer Warren) (1975)

sewhite2000, like Topbilled, I'm really happy you are doing these again. Thank you.
For those who are fans or for those who know her name but not her work, TCM's April 3rd showing of "Safe in Hell" (my comments on it here: "Safe in Hell") is a really good introduction to one of my favorite early pre-code girls - Dorothy MacKaill.
FYI, Warner Archive Collection will release a restored version Safe in Hell on April 25th. It will be interesting to see if TCM gets the new print to broadcast.

Primetime April 23 The '70s and '80s. One slot is unscheduled. I'm hoping for Superman: the Movie, which TCM used to show quite a bit in its very early years, but that's probably crazy talk.\, but the two movies they're showing, in my opnion, don't really represent the scope of WB output over that era. They're re-showing the documentary about the Warner brothers.
Girlfriends (Melanie Mayron, Eli Wallach) (1978) Cookie (Peter Falk, Emily Lloyd) (1989)

Daytime April 24 Looks like the theme and maybe one movie haven't been revealed. All of you can look at the listings below and probably make an educated guess, smarter than me. Suspense? Rebellious Youth? Not sure
Untamed Youth (Mamie Van Doren, Lori Nelson) (1957) The Omega Man (Charlton Heston, Rosalind Cash) (1971) The Last of Sheila (Richard Benjamin, Dyan Cannon) (1973) It's Alive (John Ryan, Sharon Farrell) (1974) The Swarm (Michael Caine, Katharine Ross) (1978) Big Wednesday (William Katt, Jan-Michael Vincent) (1978) Over the Edge (Matt Dillon, Michael Kramer) (1979)

Primetime April 24 Night Seven of Great Directors at Warner Bros. This night's programming is mostly unrevealed. I assume TCM is working on securing airing rights for films by some of the famous post-1980 directors. But we do have one slot scheduled.
Robert Altman Countdown (James Caan, Robert Duvall) (1967) McCabe & Mrs. Miller (Warren Beatty, Julie Christie) (1971)
