Since we sprang forward last Sunday I've noticed there's a disparity in when my cable service's guide shows when a movie is scheduled to start and when TCM shows it. Like this morning. My cable guide showed that PENNY SERENADE was scheduled to start at 10:00 am EDT(Eastern Daylight Time). But at 10:00 am it was in the middle of LITTLE WOMEN and Penny Serenade didn't begin until 11:00 am.
Yet everything on the other channels on the cable guide all fall into line. I don't think the problem lies with my cable service.
Anyone else seeing this?

Sepiatone There is another thread about this: TCM supplied cable companies with standard-time time-periods instead of Daylight savings times. Now I assume this was just a clueless goof, but I'm sure there are some here that will believe this is some type of conspiracy by TCM to try to get Congress to stop messing with the clocks. I mean if TCM can mess with the French Connection, anything is possible!

I mean if TCM can mess with the French Connection, anything is possible! Ha! Well, i didn't notice the other thread you mentioned, but too, I'll assume it was a goof on the channel's end since all the programming on the other channels on the guide were matched with the correct starting times. And really, it turned out to be a molehill since by the time they showed that silly umbrella movie it was all in sync. And you know..... I don't think TCM really cares one way or another about the time change. But once it's shown it does negatively affect their wine club sales, well then watch out! Sepiatone
