By the time Turbulent Indigo came around in 1994, CD's were the primary release, with LP as backup, but I'm figuring this qualifies. Joni used her own art from the beginning and some of it was really stunning. And an earlier one from 1985, Dog Eat Dog. Pretty scary. She was definitely having a moment.

Of a pair of front covers posted of late, Graham Hughes was involved in the design of both of these:

Don't know where exactly to file this one, which includes a deliciously decadent take on Andrew Loog Oldham's merry band of musicians, but it's definitely dedicated to the founder of this thread, one of their fans:
Another Crawdaddy yield also would record at Chess studios...

Oh lovely one ILM. You really can't beat Pure Pop for Now People. This one isn't exactly a 'classic' but from the what became of people on LP jackets files: Brad Garrett is on the verso. What a strange little oddity to have on one's CV. Having just read the article below, I am very depressed. I'm sure I am lacking in Hot Stampers and might as well kick my entire LP collection to the curb. A musical miracle my brethren and sistren: getting caught up on this thread fixed my laptop. Whilst admiring all the selections, I got so excited I knocked it to the ground whereby the dying battery fixed itself. Hallelujah as Leonard would say. I love tracking down cover peoples. Kathy went on to find another great love and lived a quiet life in Wales. She has never spoken publicly about her relationship with Paul Simon. The Paul Simon Song Book Model and actress Louisa Livingston went on to do electronic music amongst other things. Standing in front of the watermill is a figure dressed in a black cloak, portrayed by model Louisa Livingstone, whose identity was not widely known until 2020. Livingstone, who was 18 or 19 at the time, was cast in part because of she was only five feet tall, which made her surroundings look bigger and more dramatic. galacticgirrrl, I remember a time when Ozzy Osbourne was suggested as the cover 'girl': Thank you for the enlightenment.
