Earlier this morning marked the 55th anniversary of the WHO's stage effects seen and heard during the WOODSTOCK MUSIC & ART FAIR... I realize the following bootleg front cover is far afield from your original thread title, I Love Melvin, but hopefully still acceptable to post here: I'm surprised that I didn't try to obtain this said poor-but-complete audio offering about 45 years ago when I was in the midst of my deaf, dumb and blind allegiance to the Who. I'm confident that the photo of Roger Daltrey, snapped about two or more years after his fringed Woodstock appearance, was Xeroxed off a color photo I remember first seeing in a library encounter. No, I wouldn't say that bootleg covers are far afield at all. I had some favorites of my own.

The benefit concert, by the way, was prompted by the same earthquake which had previously led to legend Roberto Clemente perishing in an airplane crash in relief for Nicaragua. Since I have your blessing, I Love Melvin, here's another bootleg of material culled of the Who - cover credited to "ALL-MEAT MUSIC" artist William Stout: !!

It's a stunning cover and a stunning album. Here's a less formal one from back in the day.

It's a stunning cover and a stunning album. Here's a less formal one from back in the day. Informal, yet royal in scope: The King and Queen of jazz sitting for their portrait.

My local PBS station just showed a documentary about the 1969 Rock and Roll Revival Festival in Toronto where these guys premiered the "group", never having played together before. The Plastic Ono Band: Live Peace in Toronto. Wouldn't be surprised if Yoko picked the cover.
