The lineup for Silent Sunday Nights this past weekend per the TCM website was scheduled to be the Lois Weber films Shoes (1916) at midnight followed by Where Are My Children (1916) at 1 AM ET. TCM had previously shown Shoes on Silent Sunday Nights back in May of 2020, so I was more interested in watching Where Are My Children, which hadn’t been shown since 2018. Based on this, I set my recorder for the 1 AM show. Today I looked at my recording and discovered that TCM had switched the 2 shows around and Where Are My Children was shown first at midnight, followed by Shoes at 1 AM, and I had recorded the wrong film. I see now from the on-line schedule services that they had the correct order, but TCM’s own web schedule was incorrect. I hate it when this happens! TCM gave the right information to the third-party services but for some reason could not get their own website to be accurate. Lucky for me, Where Are My Children is available on WatchTCM, so I can see it there and all’s well that ends well. (Unfortunately, Shoes is not available online for anyone that missed it for similar reasons.)
P.S.
Surprise! I looked at the Where Are My Children video on WatchTCM, and even though the run time is listed as 1h 2m, it is actually over 2 hours long and includes both Where Are My Children and Shoes, so both of the Silent Sunday Nights films are there.

TCM’s programming is currently running one hour behind the posted schedule today.
Daylight savings time began at 2 am this morning, so clocks were moved ahead one hour over night.
The scheduled showing of Cabaret finished at 7:04 am Eastern after the time change.
For some reason TCM then added The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Story (1950) at 7:05 am, which is a 56-minute short.
Beyond the Line of Duty (1942) started next at 8:15 am, one hour later than the schedule shows.
I’m not sure how things will be corrected from here, as the schedule has no gaps for the rest of the day.

I noticed that too. It's hard to believe TCM programmers didn't account for daylight savings time, but it appears they didn't.

Hard to believe they can miss daylight savings change. I want to record ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT tonight. I'll have to keep checking TCM to figure out how to set the time to record.

The TCM broadcast seems to be a runaway train that nobody can get back on track. If this continues, Ben will be doing his first primetime intro for The Longest Day at 9 pm Eastern time tonight. Eventually they’re going to have to cut off one of these films before it finishes or make some other change to the schedule.

It's incredible, but it is still an hour behind. How can this be happening? Does anybody actually work there? What else could they possibly be doing?

If I could play junior programmer, I see an opportunity coming up to fix things somewhat easily.
One Way Passage (1932) is a 69-minute film coming up at 3:30 pm Eastern time with the broken schedule. This would be followed by Waterloo Bridge at 5:00 pm (it was supposed to be 4 pm originally).
If they skip the showing of One Way Passage at 3:30 they can go straight to Waterloo Bridge at 4 pm and everything is back on schedule. All they would then have to do is come up with filler between 3:30 pm and 4 pm Eastern. (Show the cruising and wine club ads 15 times and you’re there.)

That's a good plan, the other one, which they could have already completed, was/is to drop all the fillers between movies until they got back on schedule, if they didn't want to lose a movie.

I think they're following the plan - at 3:30 pm Waterloo Bridge was listed as the next film and they've started showing the filler...

They've cut ONE WAY PASSAGE to show a half hour of fillers. The TCM website shows ONE WAY PASSAGE is playing now. Isn't it possible for someone who attends to the website to add some message what they are changing to get back on the listed schedule? Isn't there a technician who could scroll a message at the bottom of the picture? I am annoyed that so many companies seemingly have the attitude "take it or leave it"

How about a brief message on their Twitter feed or Facebook page? Unfortunately these seem to be used solely as a marketing opportunity. Imagine if you could ask them a serious question there and someone would be able to reply.
All of this technology is just sitting there.

- ** Cable TV Schedule ** (this is probably correct)
SATURDAY Apr 29 2023-04-29 06:45 AM Slight Case of Murder, A (1938) 2023-04-29 08:15 AM Horn Blows at Midnight, The (1945) 2023-04-29 09:45 AM Man Who Came to Dinner, The (1941) 2023-04-29 11:45 AM No Time for Sergeants (1958)

In the last several days I am seeing some errors in the online TCM daily schedule web page. These errors show up if you set the time zone for something other than Eastern. When other time zones are used, some of the titles are dropping out and not shown. There are also cases where the titles are shown with incorrect times (one hour early). There are quite a few of these cases now for the schedule in Canada, but only a few for the US schedule. Most of these errors are for the schedule in August, so people probably aren’t seeing it yet. I hope that these cases will be fixed sometime between now and the start of August, so maybe it won’t be a big deal. In the meantime, you can refer to my monthly schedules, which I try to keep as accurate as possible:

Not a goof but more of a complaint.
I get the email version of TCM's monthly newsletter, once in the beginning of the month and another for the second half. They have articles about the monthly features and the movies being shown but they don't list specifically when those movies will air. I seem to remember that they'd post the the schedule or at least a link at the end of an article about the monthly theme. I guess I'm just grateful that they still have the newsletter!
