I don't eat freshwater fish unless it is trout that I caught myself in a Sierra Nevada lake or stream.

No! I went for dinner at a friend's a long time ago and they proudly served the trout they caught in Lake Ontario. I literally did not sleep for DAYS after consuming a very small amount. It was like a clip from a movie - me lying there awake, all night, eyes WIDE open staring at the ceiling, not able to catch a wink. Truly horrifying. It wasn't long after this incident that local news did stories on how you could develop film just using lake water - ugh.
