I had CD 2, which includes Mozart s trio transcription after fugues from Bach’s Well Tempered Clavier (KV 404a) by the Grumiaux Trio in my player and did a double take: Baroque Mozart?!! I thought for a second that I had mixed a stray Bach in with the Mozart sets. They’re splendid reimaginings given a fine live interpretation below by the Zebra Trio - Ernst Kovacic, violin Steven Dann, viola Anssi Karttunen, cello

Exquisite. Effortless. Glorious. Ridiculous. Performance of a Lifetime. Art and athleticism melding in the right time space continuum.
Would it have been magic without the music? Lux Aeterna by Christopher Tin
It even brought a tear to the eye of one of her coaches.
I am not familiar with this Aussie commentator. I would have loved an inset camera of his reactions. The CBC coverage I was allowed delved a great deal into the impact of music on a routine.

My library has a Chopin episode as well. A belated thank you as well for checking on that EXIT music documentary. I thought the skating item might be a problem. It seems to be a very locked down sport. I'm not one to direct anyone to tiktok but the link below is to a shortened version and might be viewable in the US. My library has a Chopin episode as well. The Chopin ep didn’t impress me as much. For an interest Chopin excursion check out ‘The Blue Note’, a film that dramatizes the relationship between George Sand and Chopin: I’m not on tik tok but will make an effort to check out the clip later. Thanks.
