Gina Lollobrigida, one of the biggest stars of European cinema in the 1950s and '60s, has died aged 95
Gina Lollobrigida has died aged 95, her former lawyer said on Monday. According to the Italian outlet Corriere della Sera, she had been "hospitalized for some time." Lollobrigida was of the biggest stars of European cinema in the 1950s and '60s.
She sure made her mark in the film industry back then, eh? Gorgeous woman. Haven't seen or heard anything about her for many years. I assumed she may have been already dead for decades. But Rest In Peace, Gina. Sepiatone

How smooth was she dancing between the two men! Lovely and confident, yet complimentary in not trying to upstage them (she could have blown them off the dance floor. ) Thanks for bringing that video here!

Somehow the like button seems awkward in this thread but that was a great article. As an avid viewer of Sesame Street I really appreciated this part: Commercial broadcasters including Westinghouse and NBC did not want to air Sesame Street without advertising, so Morrisett had little choice but to go with the loose network of public TV stations then operating around the country.Cobbling together $8 million to get it going can't have been easy.

I thought James at 15 was a really original show and I was sorry when it was cancelled. When a program doesn't speak down to you as a kid you really take note. The Walter Mitty type dream sequences were really fun and creative. And of course the show delved into topics that nobody was discussing in my home. It was hard to watch Lance struggle after his early childhood successes. Every once and a while there would be an Entertainment Tonight segment on his travails and it was always heartbreaking. I had no idea he had returned to acting and the reviews for The Wind & the Reckoning (2022) look good. The film is spoken primarily in Hawaiian and subtitled in English, which makes it one of the first Hawaiian language films with an international distribution.

As an avid viewer of Sesame Street I really appreciated this part: I agree that it is a bit awkward, because we really want to say "Thanks for bringing the info here". I guess an option is to post something or perhaps post an emoji.

Now, THAT'S terrible loss for sure. Even though SESAME STREET was aimed at children, I enjoyed it too while watching it with my kids. Both my "kids" are 50 and 47 years of age now(respectively) and we still laugh over some of the humor injected in several of the "lessons" offered on the show. And both learned their ABC's and got a head start on reading from it too. so.... A hearty and heartfelt posthumous THANK YOU to Mr. Morrisett. And a sincere Rest In Peace. Sepiatone

I wasn't too big on "James at 15", but saw Lance in other things and thought he was good at what he did. And the sad part he's gone at what I consider too young of an age. Sepiatone
