OK, this move seems revealing. Bit by bit...
I had noticed in the past 3 or so months that the Big Screen Classics were showing twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday, whereas in the past it was one showing on both Sunday and Wednesday. I thought to myself that was too many showings, considering the theater is never really very full for any of the showings (unless it's a film such as SINGING IN THE RAIN or IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.)

interesting. Yeah, how much could TCM really be saving by not partnering with Fathom? They are definitely cutting back. The screenings I've been to were well attended. Fathom is continuing, so they must have made enough $$. The 2023 films seem to be relatively newer classics but I'm glad they are continuing.
