Ooo so hard to choose this is literally one of my favorite Cary movies, either where Cary and the dog are singing while Cary plays piano or the whole cabin scene. but literally love the whole movie really.

Oohhh one of my favorite movies!!! I really love the Do-Re-Me scene especially! I also have to mention the puppet scene, because I use to reenact it as a kid. Lol I was so corny.

All the girls are in the parlor when it is announced that Mary Lou got a part. At the beginning of this scene, Ginger Rogers is eating a handful of peanuts. She tilts her head back, tosses one in the air, then chomps. It's very convincing, even though I've never been able to tell if she really does have peanuts (though I've always suspected it's real because she then wipes her cheek as if to remove a bit of salt). The next one she tosses up, she then catches in her hand because she wouldn't have been able to catch it in her mouth. It's a small bit of business, but it very effectively tells us something about the character, not to mention Ginger.

Although I love Cary Grant in drag (what an ugly woman he made! 😂), my favorite part is him going from place to place trying to find a place to sleep. It cracks me up how every time he says the exact same phrase about being married to an American officer. Poor guy!

Lots to love in The Sting. I particularly love it when Henry (Newman) takes Johnny (Redford) to the barber shop to get cleaned up. He keeps flashing the manicurist a smile, and she is singularly unimpressed. (Impresses me!)

Many fine scenes and good acting in this film, but I can't tell you how much I love the scene when Aggie brings in the laundry. It's frozen stiff!
