All these films from 1927 are now in the public domain? Or are there exceptions?

As far as I know all the film from 1927 are now in the public domain.
The difference may be that the truly silent films will be mute as the scores are likely still under copyright.
As far as I can tell films with Vitaphone or Movietone scores are different as those scores were married to the films in 1927.
