Was interesting to see Earl Scruggs pickin' on a guitar. I always only seen him do wonders on the banjo. But since this thread is about guitars, no banjos(in spite of some very good slide in that clip) let's hear another take on bluegrass with one hell of a guitarist.  Steve Morse Sepiatone |

Any news about if and when the public can see this ceremony? PBS did show Paul Simon's induction, So I'd guess Joni's would rate as high(if not higher).
But she definitely deserves the honor.

Hard to think of something to follow that....but I'll give it a shot with a couple of acoustic Hendrix cuts. Didn't someone tell him he couldn't sing or was that his own conclusion? I can't recall but I'm glad he ignored it.

I do believe it was Jimi who thought(and once said) he couldn't sing all that good. But here's a tune that makes him a liar, as it shows putting mind to it he could sing real pretty. Plus it has my favorite Jimi "outro" solo and pedal work. And who, besides Mitch Mitchell could kick ass on a rock tune using brushes?? Sepiarone |
