A few years ago, I captured a PBS composite of some Andy Williams Christmas shows that I enjoyed for the nostalgia. I don't spend much time on Youtube. Never thought about looking for classic Christmas shows other than the Rankin/Bass and Charlie Brown ones. Thanks for the idea!

Well, you'll surely have a LOT of PERRY COMO Christmas specials to choose from. Sepiatone

I've been watching YouTube almost exclusively since about mid-summer and this appeared as a recommendation based on viewing habits in my profile. I didn't search it out, it just appeared as an option. Glad you enjoyed it.

My local PBS station aired this special once, but they interrupted it so much with pledge commercials that I gave up and watched something else.

Most shows on PBS that I'm interested in are pledge baits, so I always capture and edit out the pledge interruptions before watching. For me, if the only time PBS shows stuff that interests me is part of their pledge drives, it has a negative influence towards me donating. 😞

Odd that a PBS station would air an old NBC property, but why not? The random ad breaks make YouTube something of an annoyance but if you keep the remote handy they give you the option to skip most ads after five seconds.

The worst for me was seeing the premiere of Grantchester advertised as an hour and a half long program and tuning in to find out that the first 30 minutes was pledge bait.
