Gotta admit that the only reason I watch this service is because a complimentary year came with my new iPhone. But there are are a couple of initial attractions. A rewatch of the Coen Bros' Macbeth and...
Raymond & Ray (2022, Rodrigo Garcia) Half brothers Raymond and Ray reunite when their estranged father dies - and discover that his final wish was for them to dig his grave. Together, they process who they've become as men, both because of their father and in spite of him.
I usually enjoy watching both Ethan Hawke and Ewan McGregor in whatever project they're in. Anyone else here subscribe? Got recs? Share!

Thanks for mentioning those, I was not aware they were on the service.
A while back I posted my recommendation of the documentary Sidney (2022), also on Apple TV - see the Nonfiction/documentary folder under the Genres category.

Thanks. Did put this in my queue. I’m a bit suspicious of the “black and blue” framework, frankly, but glad Pops is being honored. Must have been awesome to hear him live. All we have are recordings now. Makes you appreciate great sets from gifted talents when you’re lucky enough to catch ‘em!

I got a free 3 months of Apple TV. Friends have been talking about Ted Lasso so I thought I'd give it a whirl. So far, the first season is pretty charming. A British professional soccer team hires American Ted Lasso as coach. He has no soccer experience but his last job was as the Wichita State Shockers successful football coach. (In the real world, WSU no longer has a football program.). The reason, because of a nasty divorce the team is now owned by the wife who secretly wants Lasso to fail and run her husband's beloved team into the ground. But Lasso's folksy, American optimism slowly wins over the skeptical Brits.

Just FYI, my wife got the free 3 month offer through Target Circle. So, if anyone uses that you may want to check if you can get the same offer.
