Raw Deal is one of my favorite noir films. It has the necessary noir elements, themes and cinematography, as well as iconic noir bad guys in Burr and Ireland, noir actress Claire Trevor, O'Keefe at his best and Marsha Hunt gets a role that was perfect for her screen persona. |

I agree about the casting for RAW DEAL...it's perfect. If I had to make a list of 50 top noirs (which I haven't done), RAW DEAL would be somewhere in the first half of the list. Special kudos to John Alton for his cinematography.
