There was a mid-sized amusement park near where I went to school and, it being back in the day when even groups with national hits had to take gigs like this, they played in the "ballroom". Great dance band; lots of original material and lots of great covers. This was one of those songs which pretended to be about dancing, but by the end you're in a whole different space.

Love that one. Cameo-Parkway had a pretty good roster. Not everything was golden, but the best ones were classic. |
