I'll bet that dog is the same one who played Red in "The Stranger." there aren't that many Irish Setters who can act.
Could be, the movies are only seven years apart.

Mickey: "I guess you're Aunt Something or Other."
Etta: "Felix should've prepared me for you."

"My name came first, then the curtains."
Very snappy dialogue in this one.

"Tea is only a little hot water."
I don't think I'm going to like this Mickey character. He clearly has no idea what my "make a pot of tea" routine entails!

Imagine an era when people thought about the crease in a man's pant - for a home birthday party no less.

Imagine an era when people thought about the crease in a man's pant - for a home birthday party no less. And so many managing to look so good with not so much as two nickels to rub together.
I keep hoping the current yoga pant / top knot look will run it's course but it seems to have staying power.

Ahhh....the days when no kitchen was complete without a mounted meat grinder.
When I asked my mom for hers, she pishawed me and said she'd given it away years ago. That made me so sad.

Bunny, why are all the girls dressed in white for their dad's birthday? It used to be considered proper to wear all white for weddings, births, christenings, birthdays, and important summertime gatherings.
