I recall years ago seeing this stunning picture of Jane Wyman at this "classic movie" themed auction. As best as I can remember, Jane had blonde wavy-like hair, was wearing a white top with large black buttons (sort of like a marching majorette outfit), a black short skirt, and tall black boots. One could probably tell based off the monochromatic description of Jane's clothing attire that this was indeed a black and white photograph. Looking up close, this picture was identifying Jane as a "20th Century Fox player". Jane's filmography mostly consists of Warner Bros. films, but I didn't know she was under contract with Fox at some point in her career. Would anyone have any clue as to what movie this still comes from? I'd sure like to see it again.

Thanks, Melvin! I not only never knew that Jane Wyman was ever in a Fox movie, but also co-starring with Betty Grable. I'm wondering if this was a musical since Grable starred. I know Jane was in a few musicals such as "NIGHT AND DAY", a bio-pic starring Cary Grant as Cole Porter. I wish MOVIES! or TCM (which seldom shows Fox movies) would ever show this one.

Jane was a very good musical performer. She duetted with Bing Crosby on "In the Cool Cool Cool of the Evening" in Frank Capra's Here Comes the Groom (1951); the song won the Academy Award that year and their version was a hit on the radio. She duetted with Crosby again in Just For You (1952), in which she played a Broadway musical star and she had her own musical number in that one. The complete movie is on YouTube with Portuguese subtitles.
