The apartment is a stunning mid-century modern affair replete with trash compactor and Picasso etchings but nothing in the fridge but moldy cheese. The actress sends the architect out for groceries and while he is out, she meets his British drinking/gambling/playboy upstairs neighbour and invites him to join the couple for dinner. |
