Every four years a special event occurs.........
FEBRUARY 29TH
HAPPY LEAP DAY!!! Leap day can refer to leaping dancers.....
...Or it can refer to Frogs!
February 29th is Sadie Hawkins Day, when ladies can propose to men....
.......which in LI'L ABNER was conducted via Foot Race
In PIRATES OF PENZANCE, February 29th is Frederick's birthday, which means... "he is a little boy of five!" and still under contract to the Pirates! And since Act 1 takes place on Frederick's birthday, this is probably the perfect Leap Day movie!
Share your favorite Leap Day movie moments -- Sadie Hawkins, Frogs, or dance moves!

There are more Muppet frogs than just Kermit ….such as these guys he meets in MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN… …and especially Kermit’s beloved nephew Robin Robin was performed by the great Jerry Nelson, heard here singing on The Muppet Show:

It's still Leap Day here in L.A., so here's some memorable movie moments of characters leaping up and down and off of things:
Famous leaping around scene in A HARD DAY'S NIGHT
Esther Williams and her crew were always leaping into the pool
Lots of leaping around in the circus like BILLY ROSE'S JUMBO
Ya gotta leap in the air to do that famous KARATE KID kick
Tigger was always bouncing, til he got bounced off a tree
Superman was "able to leap tall buildings in a single bound" (we call it flying.....)
