It's funny to me that there is a book on the bookshelf in the background titled "Luck." Seems like just what everyone needs...

"I think by making a tremendous effort, I may be able to recall it."
Delivered with a perfect blend of mirth and cynicism and insecurity.
Harding is so good in this one.

This phone call between the two women is great. Daisy looking up to her great imaginary appointment book in the sky. Beyond uncomfortable.

Are most of these lines in the play?

"Money is that so awfully important? I haven't got any, but you know, I feel quite alright."
She has a river-view apartment on Sutton Place and has been painting without a job for over half a year - all of us should not have money like that.
The conceit of rich people dismissing money (Katherine Hepburn, born to a wealthy family, wasn't above doing that either) makes me sick. I don't begrudge anyone their money at all - I like seeing people do well - but to then act like you're above money, when you have it, makes me want to throw up.

Are most of these lines in the play? Yep. This is quite faithful to the play.

Please sir, suspend your disbelief and put your common sense away like I did! winkie winkie
