The Yellow Wallpaper Charlotte Perkins Gilman performed by Agnes Moorehead Radio version of the Perkins short story. Just picked up the Library of America collection of Perkins' writings. Wallpaper is probably the most popular example of her work. Great Moorehead performance.

This site brings not only the surviving recordings from the Mercury Theatre on the Air, but also a selection of Welles' other pioneering radio work. This includes his seven-episode adaptation of Victor Hugo's Les Miserables and a selection of other recordings from his radio career. Welles' radio work is often overshadowed by his contribution to cinema, however it remains one of the most extraordinary bodies of work in the history of radio, as fresh today as it was eighty years ago. -bornalone.org

Thanks. You know what they say about a little encouragement... Voyage Through Darkness (1944) Olivia de Havilland and Reginald Gardiner (sounding awfully like George Sanders)

No Escape (December 16, 1948/CBS) featuring James Cagney These are wonderful posts. Short and really catch my eye...and expertly curated. I wish I had an old tube radio with a usb port.
