Love's guitarist Bryan MacLean has a younger sister who would sometimes climb onstage with the group. Some people referred to her as "that little girl with the big voice".
Her name is Maria McKee and she does indeed have a powerful voice. Her solo works are critical favorites. Before going solo, she was the lead singer of the band Lone Justice. With her, they had a hit with the song Shelter which was popular enough to get them an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
There's this killer video of her performing Shelter in New York. Man, what a voice. And is she cute!

It should've been you out on that dancefloor instead, intrepid37: You appreciate her so much!

Though not as prolific as bandmate Arthur Lee, Bryan MacLean did compose some beautiful songs for LOVE:

They had quite a 60's "San Francisco vibe"
