A billboard seen in the distance in my previous post's photo - see "Another from the Canyon" in the Music section - prompted the following find: I recently learned to play the Chaplin song Smile after my pianist friend teased me that, being an old movie buff, I must play a song by one of the greats of his generation. Really nice song to play with a great melody and chord structure. Man, that Charlie could do it all! |
