The Talk of the Town club featured heavily in the 2019 Judy Garland biopic with Renee Zellweger. It was her last major club engagement and much of the second half of the movie takes place there.
It also appeared in the British limited TV series Cilla (2014), with the amazing Sheridan Smith as singer Cilla Black. She was managed by Brian Epstein so she was mingling with the best in the business and did a number of engagements at Talk of the Town.
