My review of Godzilla Minus One

my review of Godzilla minus one which I watched thanks to a torrent DL. too much emphasis of the human drama at the expense of Godzilla himself. that's this movie's problem. we are supposed to bare our hearts for failed kamikaze pilot shikisima. I doan give a friggin trilobite about his failure. the scenes with Godzilla are too few and far between. the cgi has no inspiration to any of it so most of Godzilla's destruction comes across as simply obligatory. the director seemed to have forgotten that audiences root for Godzilla in these movies. the 1954 movie is fun but here we get a babe hanging from a train wreck. who cares and when annoying shikisima thinks noriko is killed he lets out a painful AAAHHHHH! you're a failed kamikaze fella so just shuddup.
